Hello everybody. What a long weekend. I'm not sure what I want to talk about first so lets start from the beginning................. Friday night we had an autograph signing at Gurnee Mills mall. It was at the RF video stand. I got there a little early cause I wanted to see Jensen. I haven't seen him since he went to Cali. I, along with Chris Daniels, Double M, & Low ki signed at the 6-8pm slot. I sold almost $80 of t-shirts and tapes that night, I was totally thrilled. Saturday was a whole nother story. I went to the show not knowing what to expect out of it. I had a long Friday night arguing with my gf. So going there I was already mentally beat. the tourney went good, I thought I did a horrible job that night. In the first match I hurt my back and wrist in the second. I just took the heat and it seemed in the finals I found myself to be completely sloppy. Some say I was rushed into the slot that brian gave me, but i don't think that to be true. Just had a over all bad weekend. But all and all I just want to thank everybody that I got to work and thank Brian for having me be apart of this great tourney. Normally this is were I would end my commentary but on tue of this week I went to my doctor and found out that i have a sever lower lumbar sprain & without the x-rays yet the doc thinks I might have a broken bone in my lower hand/upper wrist. the reason why I didn't get an x-ray is cause he wants me to take muscle relaxers, & inflammatory's for 10 days. When I go back we might have to take some x-rays. I also can't wrestle for at least 2 weeks. I have to go back to the doctors first and they will tell me after that. I just want to tell the L.W.F. that i'm sorry for not being able to participate this weekend or the next due to my injuries. AIRBORNE 7/18/01 Click here to read Airborne's commentary from 07/07/01 |
